My Story

1. Can you remember your first Easter experience in church? What stood out to you?

2. If someone were to ask you why you believe in the resurrection of Jesus, how would you respond? What reasons would you give for your confidence?

Going Deeper

1. Read 1 Corinthians 15:3-7. Why do you think Paul includes the number of eyewitness accounts to the risen Jesus? Why is eyewitness testimony so important?

2. Read 1 Corinthians 15:14, 17. Why is the resurrection of Jesus so absolutely necessary and central to the Christian faith?

3. Read John 20:3-8. What is the connection between seeing and believing? How can we have confidence in our faith without knowing ALL the answers?

Taking it Home

1. “If Jesus rose from the dead, you have to accept all that He said. If He didn’t rise from the dead, why worry about anything He said?” - Tim Keller. If the resurrection validates everything Jesus said, what’s one teaching of His that challenges you the most—and how would truly believing in the resurrection change your response to it?

2. What’s one specific way you can live in resurrection hope—especially when life feels uncertain, painful, or dark?
